The Redevelopment Agency‘s monthly meetings will revert back to City Hall after several years of being held at the Hamilton Stage for Performing Arts.
About two years ago, the Redevelopment Agency shifted its monthly meetings from Council Chambers at City Hall to the Hamilton Stage after then-Redevelopment Director Peter Pelissier resigned as city administrator amid a falling out with then-Mayor Rick Proctor.
The Redevelopment Agency at the time also authorized $6,700 to create an office within the 14,000-square-foot facility for Pelissier’s use as redevelopment director. Pelissier resigned as redevelopment director in September as part of sweeping changes at the Redevelopment Agency by Mayor Samson Steinman.
The seven-member board typically meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The agency’s next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 4.
