The second phase of The Mint will rise to six stories and the building will be extended to accommodate another 16 units, among other changes approved by the Planning Board on Tuesday night.
The Planning Board is likely to be presented with the findings of a redevelopment study of five Esterbrook Avenue properties at its next meeting, scheduled for April 27.
Applications to the Planning or Zoning Boards would be reviewed and deemed complete by an advisory committee of the city’s professionals before being granted hearings, under an ordinance approved by City Council.
Planning Board members generally endorsed the Arts District Redevelopment Plan with few questions before unanimously recommending the concept during its meeting tonight, held via Zoom.
