A rendering of the mural on the east side of the Extra Space Storage building is themed, “Rahway: Home to Innovation,” featuring images of Nikola Tesla, who opened Tesla Electric Light & Manufacturing on Irving Street in the 19th century; Carl Sagan, a 1951 graduate of Rahway High School who won the Nobel Prize in 1977; and, Jeannette E.
