Robert Landolfi is executive director of the Redevelopment Agency. He is a former longtime business administrator in neighboring Woodbridge, who served as Rahway’s interim city administrator in 2018 after Mayor Raymond Giacobbe, Jr. was elected to a full four-year term.
.City Council. approved a resolution (AR-188-24) at its meeting on Aug. 12 awarding a $20,000, one-year contract for “labor and operational consulting services” to Landolfi & Associates Government Solutions Corporation, LLC. The contract runs one year, from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Redevelopment Agency approved a resolution (Res. 34-24) at its Aug. 21 monthly meeting for an “amended service contract” for economic development services in an amount not to exceed $20,000 for July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
Landolfi was chief financial officer (CFO) for the Newark Redevelopment and Housing Authority where he managed $24 million budget and a capital budget for $11 million and executive director for the North Arlington Redevelopment Agency and business administrator, according to the resolution. He was also controller for the Asbury Park Urban Development and housing Authority, where he was chief financial officer of a $3 million operating budget and $1.7 million capital budget.
