City Council approved a resolution (AR-44-21) to award a $65,000 contract through 2021 to Landolfi & Associates Government Solutions Corporation during its Jan. 11 meeting. The Redevelopment Agency approved a resolution (Res. 15-21) to award a $65,000 contract through 2021 during its Jan. 13 regular monthly meeting. Robert Landolfi will continue to serve as redevelopment director of the Redevelopment Agency and city administrator at least through this year.
Landolfi, the former longtime business administrator in neighboring Woodbridge, first was appointed interim city administrator in January 2018, succeeding Cherron Rountree after Mayor Raymond Giacobbe, Jr. was elected to a full four-year term. Giacobbe initially served out the remaining year of the term of Samson Steinman, who resigned in late 2017.
Landolfi also was awarded a $30,000 contract in August 2018 as a consultant related to “analyzing operations of the city and leading the Rahway 2030 Initiative.”
