So that means it’s also about time for the annual holiday window decorating contest!

Sponsored by RahwayIsHappening.com (the Rahway Special Improvement District), it’s another collaboration with the Rahway Chamber of Commerce for their holiday window decorating contest by local businesses.

The same rules apply as last year. Voting will be similar to last year, using a Google Form where you enter your email address to vote (Don’t forget to scroll to the end of the list – which will go live tomorrow!).

Stroll your way around Rahway to check out all of the holiday window displays. This year, there are 21 locations with holiday window displays – see the map to get details on locations. Each participating business will have a QR code in their window display. Scan the QR code to vote for your favorite. You can also use this link to enter your email address to cast your vote. Remember, only one vote per email.

The contest opens on Small Business Saturday (that’s tomorrow) and will run through December 18. Winners will be announced on social media on December 20.

Once again, two winners will be chosen. The People’s Choice Award will go to the display that earns the most votes. The Senior Art Class Award will be voted on my members of the Senior Art Club.

Almost 1,000 votes were cast last year with Garden of Ink scoring the win and Gelber Associates taking the Senior Art Class Award.
