We asked, you answered! The July reader poll, sponsored by RahwayIsHappening.com, the Rahway Special Improvement District (SID), asked:

What’s your favorite featured adult drink in Rahway? 

1. CubaNu Tequilita Rose — 41% (94/230 votes)
2. Firehouse Eatery & Pub’s Guinness — 31%  (71/230)
3. Wet Ticket Brewing’s Watermelon Wheat — 15% (35/230)
4. The Irving Social’s Nights in White Satin — 3.47% (8/230)
5. The Lounge at the Watt’s Blueberry Mint Berry Blast Mojito — 3% (7/230)
6. La Chula Tex Mex’s Mazatlán — 2.17% (5/230)
7. Flynn’s Pub House’s Frozen Margarita — 1.74% (4/230)
8. The Waiting Room’s Nice Mai Thai Brother — 1% (3/230)
9. Nancy’s Towne House’s Homemade Sangria — 0.4% (1/230) 
10. Rocky’s Bar & Grill’s Golden Road Mango Cart — 0.4% (1/230)
11. Sabor Peruano’s Pisco Sour — 0.4% (1/230)

A total of 230 votes were cast in a tight race that saw CubaNu’s Tequilita Rose push into first place in the final week of voting.

CubaNu’s sweet, pink summer drink ousted Firehouse Eatery & Pub’s Guinness, which was the reigning champion from our 2023 poll, by some two dozen votes and together accounted for 72% of total votes.

CubaNu jumped to the top from third place last year, when they earned 9% of the votes with their Boss Lady drink. The new third-place award goes to Wet Ticket Brewing’s Watermelon Wheat, earning 15% of the vote, bumping down from its second-place title in 2023. The remainder of the votes were scattered among the 9 remaining drinks.
