Poll results: Favorite featured drink in Rahway

At least according to the latest reader poll. Sponsored by RahwayIsHappening.com (the Rahway Special Improvement District), the monthly reader poll for July asked “What’s your favorite featured drink in Rahway?” and the top two choices turned out to be beers:

Firehouse Eatery & Pub – Pint of Guinness

The choices were a dozen featured drinks at local watering holes, three of which were beers that garnered almost three-quarters of the vote combined. The Firehouse Eatery & Pub on St. Georges Avenue took the top spot, by a wide margin, for its pint of Guinness, garnering 61 percent of the vote, followed by Wet Ticket Brewing ‘s Tastes Like Summer Watermelon Wheat, with 11 percent. That means the two combined to grab more than 72 percent of the total 240 votes.
