This year’s participants included several from last year, such as, Gelber Associates, Adeline’s Deli, The Coffee Box and Travel Skate Shop. There were two awards this year: the People’s Choice Award and the Senior Art Class Award.

There was a total of 949 votes cast for the People’s Choice Award:

Garden of Ink
  1. Garden of Ink — 18% (174/949 votes)
  2. Adeline’s Deli — 16% (155/949)
  3. Gelber Associates — 12% (117/949)
  4. [TIE] The Coffee Box — 11% (105/949)
  5. Wholly Cow — 11% (105/949)
  6. Travel Skate Shop — 10.8% (103/949)

In the other category, for the Senior Art Class Award, nine members of the Senior Art Club toured all of the participating business holiday windows on Dec. 2 and chose their top three:

  1. Gelber Associates
  2. Pupz Club
  3. Mille & Joy
Gelber Associates

The two first-place winners, Garden of Ink and Gelber Associates, will receive a $200 award, a trophy, and a feature in the spring issue of the Rahway Review. Thanks to all for voting and for supporting Rahway’s small businesses.

Be on the lookout for new polls in 2024 — and don’t forget, we’re always open to suggestions — Thanks to all who voted in all of the monthly polls during 2023.
