We already looked at the most popular posts of 2023. This week, it’s time to reminisce about the various special events held throughout the last year. Sponsored by RahwayIsHappening.com (Rahway Special Improvement District), the January reader poll wants your opinion on the host of events the SID put on in 2023. Have a look:
There’s something from most every month, starting in January with the Soup Stroll (and this year’s stroll is happening this month so remember check out the final two Saturdays, Jan 17 and Jan. 24 – you could win a prize!). There’s also the annual Taste of Spring along with a variety of music series all around downtown, including the Mayor’s Concert Series, Live at the Paseo: Friday Night Music Series, Arts District Park: Saturday Evening Music Series, as well as the Music Festival for Restaurants and AB Salute House Music Events.
Small Business Weekend events included the Cherry Street Holiday Market and ushered in the holiday season, with the tree lighting and Winter Wonderland last month, perhaps most fresh in readers’ minds. There’s also the Cherry Street Soiree en Blanc, Paint Rahway Pink, the Rahway Arts Fest, Lewis Street Market, and What’s the Word: Poetry Slam.
Let us know what you think! Poll results will be posted by the end of this month.
