So, what better time to bring back one of our most popular polls. The monthly reader poll, sponsored by RahwayIsHappening.com, for September is:

You’ll notice there are restaurants and other eateries in this poll but it’s not a Favorite Restaurant poll — that was the July reader poll. This one is strictly Favorite bar. However, for purposes of this poll, any restaurants or eateries that have a bar are included as an option to vote for. Well, I also included Wet Ticket Brewing. Technically, it’s a brewery, but there is a bar there, even though your only option is beer. It’s one of the new options since the last Favorite Bar poll a few years ago. Also making its poll debut is The Lounge at Watt Hotel.
The last time we had a Favorite Bar poll was 2015 when a whopping 193 votes were cast (which could very well be a record). That year, The Waiting Room won the title, grabbing 50% of the vote, ahead of second place Kowal’s Tavern, and the Firehouse Eatery & Pub, and The Rail House, which tied for third.
Are there any other bars that I forgot to include? If you have any suggestions that you don’t see, feel free to use the “Other” option, and please use the comments section to let me know — but let’s keep it to strictly Rahway establishments.
