There’s nothing better than a warm, hearty soup in the winter. After a snowy winter, with spring only a few weeks away (really), soup season (at least the hot variety) is coming to an end. What better time for a new reader poll?
Free parking, free public Wi-Fi, and seven designated public spaces downtown where residents can eat and drink are among the efforts by the city encourage patronage of local businesses while still social distancing as restrictions are eased in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Where do you go in Rahway when “you want to go where everybody knows your name – and they’re always glad you came”? We’re bringing back polls more often and our newest: What’s your favorite bar in Rahway?
A pedestrian-only East Cherry Street? Check. A parklet/pop-up cafe? Check. Signage to offer up some inclination of development projects? Check. Rahway Rising seems to be ahead of the curve a bit when it comes to downtown initiatives. 😛
