Metro Rahway will be the next development in Rahway to begin leasing. The 116-unit rental development on Campbell Street is shooting for an Oct. 1 opening — “at the latest” — but possibly by mid-September, according to Clay Bonny of East Hanover-based Heartstone Development.

Meridia Water’s Edge begins leasing
Temporary Certificates of Occupancy (TCO) have been granted for the first two floors of Meridia Water’s Edge and the 108-unit complex has executed agreements with 15 tenants so far. Redevelopment Director Peter Pelissier briefed commissioners at their April 2 meeting after speaking last week with developer George Capodagli of Capodagli Property Company.
New plan for former Koza’s Bar site
Five years after a plan to build nine condominium units was approved for the former Koza’s Bar property, a new proposal seeks to construct 12 rental apartments. The Zoning Board of Adjustment is scheduled to hear the new application at its meeting Monday at 7 p.m.
Plan for Mangos shifts farther down Fulton
A plan for 88 rental apartments centered around the Mangos Grill property has been revised to move the project off the corner of East Milton Avenue and farther south on Fulton Street.
Easement granted for Lafayette Village
The proposed 115-unit Lafayette Village project at the corner of Main and Monroe streets (map) is expected to begin construction in 2014 after finally getting necessary state permits and other approvals in recent months.
