Jelsie Basso of Mooney Place was appointed as a member. Robert Parson of Forbes Street was reappointed as an alternate. Both will serve terms through 2022. The governing body adopted a resolution (AR-81-21) during its Feb. 8 meeting.
In January, City Council confirmed five appointments to the Zoning Board. At the time, Basso was among three alternates appointed, to serve through 2021.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment is comprised of nine volunteer members and four alternates, appointed by the mayor and confirmed by City Council. The board generally meets on the third Monday of each month to review applications that propose to use property that’s not consistent with municipal zoning laws.
The board is scheduled to meet next on Monday.
